I believe in the transformational power of yoga, whether your aim is to stretch and destress at the end of a busy day or to reinvigorate and balance body and mind.
Attending regular classes at the North London Buddhist Centre and elsewhere, I have been practising yoga for around 25 years. I completed the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) accredited teacher training Diploma at Yogacampus, one of the UK’s most established teacher training centres. Prior to that, I have completed the BWY Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy module with Tarik Dervish, the Scaravelli Immersion course with Catherine Annis and the Qigong for Yoga Teachers Immersion with Mimi Kuo-Deemer.
I attend regular workshops and have been lucky enough to learn from eminent practitioners including my wise and experienced tutors at Yogacampus and from regular intensives/workshops. I have also been a Contact Teacher for the Yogacampus Teacher Training.
I teach a creative, mindful hatha flow class with a focus on alignment in postures and movement, safety and breath awareness, aiming to help students on their own path of yoga.
Outside of yoga, I work for an independent publisher and have combined both passions with the publication of ‘Yoga Teaching Handbook’ (Singing Dragon, part of Jessica Kingsley Publishers). I am very excited to announce the publication of a new volume for yoga students and teacher trainees: ‘Yoga Student Handbook’ (Singing Dragon). I am also Series Editor on the new Yoga Teaching Guides (Singing Dragon).
